Kevin stuck to his word and had Mike-Mike and Freddy case out Trice’s place. They were gone for a couple of hours after it got dark outside. So when they walked back into the house empty handed, Kevin was not happy. “Yo’ Kev, that dough ain’t no where in that house. Me and Freddy searched every spot in there.”

“What about the chick? Did you see her leaving the house before you went in there? Or coming home when you were leaving out?” Kevin asked. I could hear the desperation in his voice.

"Nah, and it doesn't look like she's been there for a while." Freddy said.

"Whatcha' mean it doesn't look like she's been there?"

"I'm saying, it doesn't look like she's been there since the police were there. All the police tape, fingerprint dust and dried up blood was all over the front door and the floor in the living room. I figured if she had gone back there then she would've cleaned all that shit up."

"Yeah, Kev he's right. There's no way she’ll walk around that spot while all that shit is there." Mike-Mike agreed.

"Can you tell if she moved out?"

"Nope. All her clothes and shit is still there. It really just looks like she left the house in a hurry." Freddy explained.

"Well, I guess it's time to go to Plan B." Kevin told them.

Mike-Mike and Freddy took a seat on the living room sofa across from Lil Leon and I, while Kevin pulled in a chair from the kitchen.

"I thought about having you guys to sit outside every day until you see her come home. But then I figured it would be to risky to have you do that. So, I want you to go back inside and wait for her there."

"I don't think that's going to be a good idea." Mike-Mike spoke up.

"Why not?" Kevin asked.

"What if she brings a nigga back to her crib?" Mike-Mike said.

"What about it?"

"Do you know how much damage that would do to our plans?"

"No, I don't. So explain it." Kevin pressed the issue. I could tell that he didn't like when someone challenges him.

"It's obvious that she's afraid to come back to her house. Because if she wasn't she would've come back before now. So if that's the case don't you think that when she does finally come back to her spot she's gonna have someone with her?"

"Sure, that's a possibility." Kevin agreed.

"Okay well, if she does, don't you think that could screw up our chances of getting the money from her." Mike-Mike continued.

"If you're the nigga that I know you are, that shit ain't gonna happen. I don't give a fuck if she brings five cats back to her crib. With all the iron and ammo we have and the fact that you got Freddy with you, nigga you shouldn't have a problem whatsoever. Now if you've turned soft on me then I can see why you're being scary and shit." Kevin replied sarcastically.

"Come on Kev, you know I ain't no scary type of nigga.
